YOUR DOG'S NOSE ... NOW YOU KNOWS TOO.

You may have been wondering about all the hills, valleys, pits, crinkles, curves, and crevices of your dog's nose.

Me too.
After an exhaustive search, I have located the correct anatomical names for the amazing landscape that is your pup's nose.

You're welcome.

*Nose model: Bear

Such a cute close up of Bear's nose. I have a feeling that some of those long, latin-y sounding words are made up. I could be wrong though. Nice job!

I see several questionable terms here. Do they apply to just Labradorus domesticus var. Bear, or are they generally seen on all domesticated hounds?

Ladies! I don't even speak Latiny. I'm shocked you think I might make up terms.

Bear deserves a reward for being such a good nose model. Something smelly, I think.

Does kissing my computer screen make me WEIRD? So relieved to finally have terms for all the territory I know so well, but which has heretofore gone nameless. Your Loony Toons Latin much appreciated.

At last, a name for the important parts! Our current accidental dog has an outstanding softicus smooshinium jowlicus...

Pablo,
PSA = Puplick Service Announcement.

Mark,
The smellier, the better!

Julie,
I knew you were a fan of the kissy bullseye aka, ... a dog nose.

Swampy!
How are you? Great to hear from you. I know your accidental dog is one happy pup to be with y'all.
