Heh, over the years we have had a number of snakes go missing in our house. Thankfully, they all managed to get outside somehow...except for one. I found it quite by accident while doing the laundry. Good thing it wiggled before I put the sweatshirt it was hiding in in the washer!
My mom tells a story about my brother's pet turtle being accidently washed in the washing machine (it was in his pocket). When she discovered it, it was alive and well, but for a while afterword it would flip over on it's back when you set it down. Apparently the spin cycle had confused it's equilibrium.
More stuff to worry about that might be hiding under the bed.
ReplyDeleteAs a boy, I had a garter snake get loose in our couch...we never found it. It was a while before one of my favorite aunts would sit on that couch.
