No, No, MeMe, No, No !

I still have much to learn about blogging...Like what are trackbacks, "unique visitors " (niches may have helped me there), blog carnivals, blogroller, and meme's.

I got the 10yr, 5 yr, 1 yr, etc. meme from a cool bug lover who will remain nameless. I chose not to play, mainly because I have my own story line and share enough about things I've done...even really stupid things.

So...I did not play. (Boo! Hiss! FC's a Party Pooper...Take Your Ball and Go Home!)

So today I got meme'd by Laura at Vitaminsea, a perky, funny Florida blogger. It's a short 23/5 meme thingy and I will not be as scroogy, but This Is It!

Future meme's will be lost in transit, not recieved, oops missed that email, oh sorry I didn't check your post that day, my dog ate the meme....get the drift?

The 23/5 meme:
Go to your 23rd post, find the 5th line and post it. This I will do:

"It'll take some serious mitosis to repair the damage."

Then tag 5 other people to do the same: This I will not do.

Please don't hate me.

see? that's one reason that some of us are remaining anonymous. too many things I still don't "get" about blogging, and well, frankly, like you, some things I'm not interested in "getting". But I enjoy reading, and you're out there, so you are read. Thank you for the ways you enlighten, educate, and entertain!

Laura,
Thanks for thinking of me. Sorry for halfway playing...

Anonymous,
I hear ya'. Thanks for visiting.

DPR,
When it comes to key lime pie, I'm the kid shouting, "Me, Me!" :)

I, too, was tagged by that cool bug lover and I, too, chose not to share. At least he tagged us in a considerate way :) I have considered sending him the answers to the 10 yr., 5yr., 1 yr. thing...he has such an inquiring mind, don't you know ;)

I'm with you on the meme thing. I've caved in once or twice (I think once) but usually just end up sending an apology note and a "thanks for thinking of me but no thanks" comment.

Call me arrogant here, but I'll find my own material. If I really run out of ideas, I'll put a query out there in post format.

Swamp and Weary,
It's just a time thing for me. I write so much anyway, something has to come off the plate. I would probably do them with a smile on my face if my schedule was different.

Thing,
Some character with a skinny lot and a friend with a "cute" boat. It escapes me now...
