Hang In There, It's The First Day Of School!

Gotta hop to it this morning.
I hope to be back in the evening with an update on how opening day went.
UPDATE:
MY FEET HURT. I HAVEN'T WORN GROWN UP SHOES ALL SUMMER AND MY FEET THINK THEY WANT THEIR SNEAKERS BACK.
IT WENT WELL ... WELL ENOUGH THAT THERE'S NOT MUCH TO SAY ABOUT IT.
THAT IS A GOOD THING, EVEN IF IT DOESN'T MAKE FOR AN EXCITING BLOG POST!

  4. Look forward to your tales of "First Day", ours is next Tuesday. Flag co-captain and her followers begin intense practice for football game this Friday, so we are essentially done with vacation here, too.
    Inspire those kiddos!

  10. My very elderly step-father would awaken in each morning and sing the song that Roger left in his comment. There's nothing quite like seeing a 94 year old man in his bathrobe, singing away and ending it with the smile that he probably wore as a child. His last line was always: Good morning, teacher. It was break-your-heart cute.

    So, how did it go?
