Great concern up here for all our wonderful Florida friends. Hope your family and friends and community stay safe through this thing.

We've had nearly 8 inches of rain in October, which is outrageous for us, but I imagine it's nothing compared to what you're facing with Hurricane Michael (and whatever others come your way this season).

Are you starting on the beard for the winter?

That's a lot of rain and it's only the beginning! Hope all goes well. Yikes!

Anxiously awaiting your report. Very cool to follow you through your day, and I'm so glad it apparently grazed Chiefland. Hoping Cedar Key survives as well as one could hope. Big love from Ohio.

Hope all is well and you've had no damage.

Truly a nonevent here. That squall in the video was the worst weather I experienced in Michael and that was brief and the day before it passed by. Cedar Key is great and open for business! Thank you all for the concern.

and Paul, ... not starting, just keeping a minimalist beard these days.
