Gotta love the price tho.

Laura,
Yes, I've seen that lakeshore. Great trees. That 48 degrees was in the morning, warmed into the 70's here too.

Kevin,
Any day the Gators win is a good day for her. I pretty much hide when they lose.

RD,
It was a great day. Spent it with Thunder and Lightning of the same blog name. Thunder is my old college roomie and they were in town to visit. We had a great time. He took more shots than me, so I think they are going to show up on his blog this week.

Tim,
Exactly. You got to get out there to find those new experiences to share.R.Powershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04905593499136090763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12006171.post-1142804308189745232006-03-19T16:38:00.000-05:002006-03-19T16:38:00.000-05:00Sounds like a great day to skip blogging. Have you ever seen the bald cypress along the shores of Lake Santa Fe, or any of the lakes near melrose? I always loved the knobby stumps and the bark on the trees.
We planted several of them along the shore on our little lake property when we lived out that way. I haven't been out there in years and hope they're still growing strong.
Enjoy your weekend, spring doesn't last long in Florid! :(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12006171.post-1142714813269150502006-03-18T15:46:00.000-05:002006-03-18T15:46:00.000-05:00Sounds like a lovely diem to carpe! Emerging leaves (UR) - not sure. Yellow flowers on shrub (LR), something we don't have I suspect. Looks like could be a hypericum - rose family? Cinquefoil?

It's not so warm here but it will be. CYA!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
