Why add an artificial colorant ...FC, think natural.
Why add an artificial colorant that some would say is harmful if the hummers will come to a natural (clear) nectar?
The red of your feeder is more than enough color to help them find their way to it.
And I've found that friends who use red nectar tend to be more lax about changing the "juice" often enough because it doesn't look "bad". Clear nectar shows pretty quickly when it starts to get cloudy, red can hide rancid stuff much more easily.myamuhnativenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12006171.post-88490628207480571982011-05-01T16:04:52.658-05:002011-05-01T16:04:52.658-05:00FC, I'd love a blueberry morning too, we be ha...FC, I'd love a blueberry morning too, we be havin snowflakes in the air this morning, making for blue fingers but not from berry pickin'Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09646529544107229536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12006171.post-10216930040055747782011-05-01T13:58:00.675-05:002011-05-01T13:58:00.675-05:00You made scones this morning?
