Hick, Sheephead are pretty yummy. You really see all sea creatures as food don't you?
RD, This was an early morning find on Pensacola beach. The fish still has clear eyes and was very fresh, so I assume he failed to outswim a 3 to 4 foot shark that night. I'm not good enough to ID the shark type from the bite. I am surprised it wasn't eaten completely...pretty hard to swim away with your caudal fin missing.
Ow! I guess that beats trying to clean the dang thing.
