Post Alberto Post

I walked around.
I drove around.
I took my camera.
I looked.

It was a breezy rainy day folks. Wonderful rain, but nothing to see locally except for a few limbs down.

Not even a sinkhole in town...there's always a sinkhole in town after a heavy rain.

What's up with that?

I'm gonna sign off and work on my clam farming post for manana.

Take care.

  1. Well, glad it was a no-news day around there. Judging from Good Morning America this morning, they were almost hoping for more destruction to report!!!

  2. Deb,
You know they feed off it. Hate to disappoint them ;)

  3. Glad nothing happened there except for your 4 inches of rainfall. We had 4 inches of rain last week, so I know your pond needed more. Maybe it will keep on raining for awhile.

  4. Abandoned,
Our summer pattern is rain every afternoon ...almost. It just hasn't kicked in yet this year.

  5. You should be happy there's no sinkhole - bad boy lol

Glad things went as smoothly as they did, though.

  7. Glad to hear you fared well in your little corner of our area also.
As for me, I'm just glad the alarmist reporters have packed up their stuff and left the island.
All's well that ends well....till the next disturbance somewhere heading toward Florida.

  9. Terri,
More to come that's for sure.

    Pablo,
Not enough of a change to bother with a post photo...darn it.

  10. It's almost 5:30 pm and has been raining all day thanks to Alberto. So far we've gotten a little over 5 inches of rain and it's still coming down. Tornadoes were spotted out on the Banks, but we've had no wind here. I'm glad I had the day off -- I just heard on the scanner that there is a tree down and water standing on the road I travel to and from work...

  11. Swampy,
Hope you needed the rain. If I had my way, Alberto would have stalled here and that rain would be mine!
    Take care.
