Here we see two of the funeral procession expressing their grief over the loss. Junior (left) and his buddy Jonathon agreed to be pallbearers. It's obvious that even funerals are casual dress here in the subtropics.
The lads are not coffee addicts at their tender age, but they seem to feel my pain. (That would be the caffeine withdrawal headache scrunching my brow)
Casual is better, anyhow.

Oh how very sad. I didn't realize how hard it would be to look at those remains. You have my deepest sympathy. Those two are very cute pallbearers. This will be one of those moments they will always remember. LOL!

These two are always writing stories, scripts, and making video.
As such, they are good sports for any hammy thing I ask them to do.
I feel your pain I drink about 48 onces a day I have a grinder so its always fresh.
ReplyDeleteNo coffee?! How horrible. You could always use a filter in a strainer and pour boiling water over the grounds...not that I would have ever resorted to such :)

Really now, to a coffee drinker (unsweetened of course), the tiny caffiene amount in tea might as well not be there.
I don't think I could survive one day without coffee. It's too much for me to even think about.
ReplyDeleteI do like your post on lightning. It reminds me of lightning storms at Lake Tahoe when I was growing up. Loud...scary...cool.
Oh, your poor departed coffee maker...I'm sure will be replaced by a better model.
ReplyDeleteWe have had some really bad lightning storms for about a week and one of our friends husbands was sitting in his living room watching TV when the house was struck by lightning. They live atop a high hill. The lightning came through the wall outlet next to his chair, entered through his hand, burned his chest in two places and left through his foot. He's lucky to be alive. His wife said that it's the second time their house has been struck by lightning in the last 13 months.
