My New Insect Collection














No. This is not a reposted picture ( go back and look if you don't believe me).
The previous bug gut coating on my beautiful JEEP was courtesy of the dreaded love bug. These are not love bugs.

These are the unlucky members of the vast midge swarm that I drove through as I descended the east side of the Palatka bridge over the St. Johns river last Thursday night.

Crazy insects ... they think they own the place :)

    So that's what those things were! We drove across that bridge one night several years ago and went through a similar 'storm'. Good to know some things don't change. 8-]

    hey! did you know that there is a product made by mr clean called magic eraser that cleans bugs off your automobile in minutes? it works great on the love bugs too. its paint friendly , be sure to wet the car and eraser first
