  1. I take it you didn't go swimming, huh? LOL
And I can see you've been outside goofing off instead of in the house working hard on the living room, tsk tsk. LOL
    (can't say I blame ya!)

I didn't read 50's science fiction stories, soooo, not sure about the riddle!

  6. I'm with threecollie... now I want a tootsie pop.

I was halfway expecting an owl in the video because of the commercial with the owl crunching the tootsie roll pop after only 3 licks. (Remember that one?)

  7. Laura,
Just as a point of clarification, I didn't read 50's scifi when they were current!
    :)
Yes, I did goof off yesterday morning prepriming painting.

    Vicki,
Good job. I hope it's what you think!
    I'm betting on you.

    3C,
And who doesn't? Sweet candy, chewy chocolate, a paper stick to chew on...they're confectionary masterpieces.

    Troll,
    Clever guess.

    Swampangel,
    They are distracting aren't they?

    Susan,
    I loved those commercials.

  12. Just checking back to see how everyone else is progressing on the answer. (When, do tell, will you be posting the answer? I've been practicing the sincere tones of, "Right! I knew that!" for some hours now...

  13. Miz M- It's because you're only looking on the surface. Usually, PF readers have more colorful answers...

  14. Ditto on what Thunder said goes for me, too. But, you use it in a good fashion where to many people do the wrong things with their time. If you know what I mean. Up here, (up there in downtown KC that is) another shooting or robbery every day. Same story only the names have been changed. Keep up the good stuff, we all need it!

  16. When you reveal the riddle, is it going to be some groaner like Burl Ives was?

  17. I don't like it when I don't know the answer.

And if Vicki knows, I am SOOOOO not speaking to her.

  18. And now, my response to you all.

    DRUM ROLL PLEASE .....

    The answer is:

    A SURPRISE ENDING!!

    Your first Tootsie Pop okay?

    Pablo,
    I wouldn't dream of such a thing.

    Vicki,
    Didja get it?

    Miz S,
    You can't hide your smartness.

    Wren,
My dear, your blog hates me. It will not let me comment ... I just wanted to let you know I am dropping by!!

    Dave and Bro,
Everyone has the same 24 hours each day. How we use it is up to us.
    This is not a rehearsal.
