Saggy Soffit Surprise

Dang it!
The porch soffit is sagging ... just one more thing for the job jar.

But ... wait a minute ... what's that in the middle?

Bird butts?

In my soffit?

Wren butts to be exact.

Ahh well, maybe this is a repair that can be put off for a wee butt.

    I had Carolina wrens stop at my covered porch in the spring. I wish I had taken pictures.

    I see you painted your porch ceiling taint blue! Does it really work? To ward off spiders and wasps, not birds obviously.
