This gator was in ambush mode in a roadside ditch. I only saw one yesterday, but you can usually count on seeing 2 or 3 on a ride through the park. Posted by Picasa

When I was little I used to think that aligators lived under my bed and so, when I turned off the light I would make a running leap onto the bed. Why did I think that aligators only snapped you up if the lights were off?

Now, I am an adult and I laugh at those notions...but I sleep with the light on.

Heh!

Hick,
Not only should you make the running leap, but never, I repeat never let any part of your body hang over the edge of the bed where the "under-the-bed things" can reach you.
After watching the original "War Of The Worlds" as a young boy, I also avoided looking at the window after getting in bed. I knew that if I did, a large metallic eye on a stalk would rise from the azaelas and I would be toast.

Ha! You made me laugh out loud (I refuse to use that acronym for Laughing Out Loud).
