The beautiful girl on the left is Sara, the outgoing Queen from last year. She is as sweet, smart, and nice as she is beautiful.
The girl on the right is our Katie, newly crowned Homecoming Queen.
( I will quit crowing now and get back to nature posts where I belong)

Congratulations.
She looks so happy and beautiful. What a moment for her. One of those memories that will last her a lifetime. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Oh she is just beautiful!!! You all must be so proud of her :)
Congratulations to Katie and to you and your wife for raising a great kid!
FC, don't let us catch you wearing her tiara...
Congrats to Katie!!
Woo Hoo...Katies wins!!
Nothing better than being Homecoming Queen in small town America. I bet the parade was wonderful, and the game exciting.
I bet papa and momma were proud. Way to go Katie!
Really glad you chose to interrupt the nature posts for this, FC. Small-town events and occasions important to young folks and their proud parents are universally appealing and I enjoyed reading about them.
Do I see a family resemblance?
Congrats Katie I called Natalie to come see your beautiful Homecoming picture. We are so proud of you and Im sure mom and dad are too.Way to go girl!
Kevin,
Thanks...this growing up thing is tough.
RD,
I agree, happy and beautiful. Thanks!
Laura,
Thanks, it seems like she was a baby on my shoulder yesterday...
Zanne,
Isn't funny to think about this happening all over the country? The parade was your typical small town parade...it could have been any small town in America.
Wayne,
Thanks. I do try and stay true to my masthead, but this is Florida culture. As for the resemblance, she resembles me except for the beautiful aspect...
Rick n Nat,
Thanks cuz. Appreciate the kind words. She's still cloud 9'ing.
Swamp,
I only wear it when she's not around...
She's gorgeous. Congrats to her. Condolences to you as you will have to erect a wall around her to keep out the guys. Although her other pictures indicate she's pretty and tough. Heh!
Belated congratulations! My home 'puter connection is too slow to comment much. She's beautiful, and I'm glad she has a good appreciation for the outdoors as well.
Deb,
Thanks, she is pretty well rounded...of course I am a little biased.
DPR,
I did tell her, but I don't think she's been on line to check it out. Thanks for the kind words.
Hick,
It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it!
Congrats again to Katie and the family! She's lovely.
Weary,
