When Good Gourds Go Bad















This is one of about 7 gourds that I successfully grew and dried. If you dug deep in the archives, you'd find a picture of a deer-whalloped gourd vine, stripped of almost all leaves.

Somehow, between the deer, the powdery mildew, the heat, and the humidity I got 7 of these gourds to a dried out state.

Tough to do down here in cucurbit hell. Posted by Picasa

I have a "round" rock that looks something like that. I'm sure I can spew forth a post about it.
