Florida Food: Shrimp Info That You Actually Care About...
Shrimp are so good that you really can only mess 'em up by overcooking. They are done almost as soon as they hit the heat so don't over do it!
These are the shrimp from the shrimp biology lesson post. In the bowl is some olive oil, cheap wine, garlic, and some basic Cajun mix.
Whisk it all together, dump it on the shrimp, and let them soak a little while.
Heat up a cast iron skillet with just a little olive oil and add the shrimp.
Stir a few times...don't over cook them, remember food continues to cook after taken off the stove.
Eat them immediately with a great salad.
Eat them immediately means do NOT wait on anyone who is slow answering the call to dinner.
If you have a picky eater who doesn't like shrimp,
...well, we eat again in the morning!
