Update on Peepers

About 3 weeks ago, I posted the tale of Peepers, the chick who had to enter the witness protection program. If you are too busy to check the archives, Peepers had to come inside for a few days (a week!) for his/her own safety as Peepers was being pecked on by his siblings.

We grew somewhat attached to him.

But, after a week in rehab, Peepers rejoined the flock and has been doing quite well. The collage above shows the current feathery Peepers on the left and the fuzzy, baby Peepers on the right. Peepers is a bantam chicken and is never going to be huge. I suspect Peepers is a hen, don't you?

Peepers only came in for a quick picture...we really don't have livestock roaming the house.

...the big feet are still my son's. Posted by Picasa

Peepers turns his back on the camera now. Looks like he's getting "cocky".

Also, tell your brother to set his blog so that those of us who are not blogger members can still make posts.

FC-- Thanks for the update on Peepers. She looks like she's doing quite well. Still small enough to be quite a cute little peeper.
