Running through the center of this photo is a person-sized (not the driveway) trail I whacked through an overgrown gallberry thicket. Thick growth like this beneath your crop of pines can put the whole forest at risk of catastrophic fire.
I have seen my share of fires in the pines that aren't cared for and even some control fires - quite a few matter of fact - that have gotten out of hand. Be careful.
