Got
mine
Whew! No time for a proper post THIS morning!
Flounder asked me to remind you, "Don't forget to eat a good breakfast, even if your morning is hectic like ours."
He's running late for his appointment to lie around on the porch all day.
He's having a bagel. I'm leaning toward Honey Bunches Of Oats.

I see that once again your blog spot has "gone to the dogs"! ;-)
(Sorry, but I had to say it.)
Hey I'm back, sort of. My schedule is still going to be hit or miss for the next few weeks, but we're getting closer to having things back under control.
I finally had a chance to check out your posts again too. I think I missed an anniversary there, so even though it's late Happy Anniversary!
Very good looking dog. Give him some bites of yours.
I'm sorry, I'm with Flounder on this one - bagels win over cereal pretty much every time. Unless you've got Honey Nut Cheerios... I can't resist THOSE!
My poor little pooch is sick today. Could be the new meds he's taking. He did eat his breakfast and then about an hour or so later, I was cleaning it up off the floor. Stinky way for both of us to start our day, in more ways than one.
I love the way your dog looks, it's my kind of dog. Hug him for me, cause if I were there, that's what I'd do.
As much as I hate eating breakfast, I try to eat one at least 3 times per week. Maybe if I had a bagel like Flounder, I'd eat breakfast everyday before I went to the porch to lie around all day. *LOL*
You are a lucky man! My room was vandalized over the weekend so I spent the day cleaning up. My breakfast toast ended up lasting me all day. Sometimes I wish I could live a dog's (OR CAT'S) life! :)
ThunderD,
Good to hear you are back. Yes, it's usually pretty doggy down here.
Hoss,
He gets the leftover cereal milk!
Mrs. S,
My standard work lunch is a peanutbutter whole grain bagel so I skip them for breakfast.
POPatricia,
Sorry about your pooch. I hope he feels better soon.
Flounder is incredibly huggable, pure sweetness.
Sandy,
It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it!
Imaginemel,
Ouch! Sorry to hear about that. Any clues? That coffee shop nearby has good scones.
Hi, Floridacracker! I ran into your blog while trying to google up an identification on a certain shelf fungus we found growing on a dead tree limb. (We were foraging for campfire wood at O'Leno State Park this past weekend, and my son and I have been debating whether the things are mushrooms or lichens!) I took a picture, but so far have not been able to match it up on any UF site.
Anyhow, I bookmarked your blog because it matches my interests so well; looks like a very fun read! Sincerely, Cheryl the Central Floridian.
Cheryl,
Hey! Welcome to Pure Florida!!
I'm happy you like it here, please do come back.
I'm not much of a fungus identifier, but Wayne at Niches (see my blogroll to the right) is quite the identifier when it comes to plants and fungi.
Thanks for the comment!
But you and Flounder are much better than the average bears just for checking in!
Vicki,
Flounder hates it when I don't post.
:)
