PreGraduation Florida Food Fest Party

That's my 5th cup of Minorcan Clam Chowder in my hand and I'm thinking about a sixth. I was just warming up for the real feast to begin.

It's important to pace yourself.

Friday night, we celebrated the two graduates, Corinne and Emma, with a wonderful relaxing party hosted by Corinne's parents. We filled their beautiful log home (see the BK Cypress link) with family, friends, and food. It was pretty wonderful.
To top it off we had perfect weather and no bugs!
After the wonderful food we toasted the graduates to be with a heartfelt poem Corinne's Mom wrote about the two best friends. It was amazing.
A digital presentation of pictures of our girls through their growing years completed the lumpinyourthroatiness feeling.Posted by Picasa

    Regardless of what the others say, I see a look on your face that says "I'm ready for a little vacation!"

    Just chowder, but it was pretty spicy and I did wash it down with a Landshark Lager.

    The special ingredient and the main thing that makes it different is the datil peppers.
