Emma and her old man an hour before graduation.
An aerial shot taken by Jordan, Corinne's very tall brother. (Jr.'s missing in this picture, he was off talking to a girl. He is a junior after all)
Corinne with (left to right) brother Jordan, brother James, cousin Ryan, and Dad Jim off in the background. (I had the pleasure of teaching those four kids during their middle and high school years)
Last, but not least, the two happy graduates. As Valedictorian and Salutatorian, they both had to deliver speeches and they both hit the ball out of the park with their delivery.
It was a spectacular ending to a great graduation weekend.
I'm going to work in the yard today (with my camera at ready) and chill out a little bit.
Time to get back to the business of critters and adventures.
Nice pics. I think I'm seeing Mrs. FC for the first time. What a beautiful family you have there!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling proud and I'm not even family. What a great country. This glimpse of our future as seen in the intelligent smiling and beautiful young faces - well . . . it just makes me feel very hopeful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these wonderful photos of your family and friends. I am amazed over and over at Emma and Corinne's friendship and character. They'll go far.
ReplyDeleteTell Emma I said congradulations. I remember how wonderful it was to graduate back in 2004. It is one of the most wonderful, and terrifying moments. And yah just gotta love it. Congrats and good luck to both her and Corinne.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I see you're not wearing a clip on tie!
ReplyDeleteRobin,
ReplyDeleteYup, that's her!
Thanks!
Cathy,
What a nice thing to say. Thank you.
Deb,
I'm amazed with you.
Paintsmh,
Thanks, I'll pass that on to them!
Pablo,
Actually no tie at all!
Congratulations to them both. Looks like it was a fine way to celebrate. I know you are proud. And terrified. But, you raised them right. They will be fine and so will you.
ReplyDeleteVery Nice Pictures of your family and what a special day for you as a Father. My special day is 8 yrs off for my oldest daughter.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your Blog and it's rare to meet a native with a history longer than mine in this state. I think it's neat all of us natives post on the blogs so we can see just how diverse this state is and the different cultures that made this state so great.
Scott
Yours in the Bond.
Congrats! You must be so proud!
ReplyDeleteIs that an older brother looking very much like you?
What a happy-looking family. If you'd all put on those robes you'd qualify as Shiny Happy People, you know. ;)
ReplyDeleteTwo down, one more to go!
You made it, bro. With style, as usual.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you all. May you all enjoy continued health and harmony as family and friends.

Cathy S,
ReplyDeleteI know you're right.
Scott,
Great comment. I agree about the native posting. Maybe we can keep Florida alive.
