Gumbo's Back! Evening UPDATE

Gumbo came home from the vet today, perky and playful.
We are pretty happy with that outcome!

Gumbo and I want to thank you for all the good wishes and pup prayers.
He came home with a couple of meds to finish off and a need to put on weight after a tough week in which he hardly ate anything solid.
He looks so puny next to Bear who seems to have grown exponentially during the same week.

He's already dropped in on the chickens and warned them that he's back and they had better toe the line.
You can see his shaved IV arm in the picture above ... he tells everybody he got that scar in a knife fight in a bar, but we know better.

Things are back to double puppy insanity around here ... much to our relief.

Now to fatten him up!
