Friday Fragments... Yes, I know it's not Friday, but I'm off tomorrow and it felt like Friday!

Here's Bear cooling his dogs in the little critter pond he installed near the bamboo. Any fish I put in this pond will obviously have to be even more alert than the average fish.

I think I'll just put some Gambusia in it and wish them luck.

Here is Mrs. FC's new ride, a 2008 Nissan Frontier (bought slightly used ... we be thrifty).
It's a nice compromise between the large and the tiny trucks.
She's thrilled and I'm thrilled to have my JEEP back.

Carbo-loading southern style:
Lima beans cooked with ham over rice.
Collard greens cooked with ham.
Corn cooked with bacon.

Did I say carbo-loading?
I think I meant pork loading.

Geez, it was good though.

Nice ride!! We got ours slightly used too, it was a demo for some pro-golfer during TPC. I tell everyone Sergio drove it. :) That food looks good enough to make ya slap yer Granny!

Very nice truck! And that dinner looks SO good. There's not much better than pork (of any kind) and collard greens.

Sharon,
I actually worked as a security guard during the TPC as a temp job ... a long time ago.

SCMomma,
Obviously, I agree!

Sayre,
I am over my separation anxiety now.

ThreeC,
It was so tasty, I did it twice!

Just Right,
Me too. I hadn't had them for a while and man they tasted good.

Emma,
You will love it!
I love you!

The Bear dip cracked me up! Dogs are an endless source of entertainment.

Glad you got your JEEP back. That's a mighty fine-lookin' truck! (I miss mine!!!!!)

Your supper... I would've drooled if I weren't stuffed from a late breakfast of yellow rice with Muir Glen tomato soup. What could be better than a little south in your mouth?! I might just have to go find me some lima beans and a big ol' ham hock. Mmmmmmmm!!! Gooder'n gopher!

Dani,
She thinks so too!
So does Junior!

Sophie,
Rice for breakfast? As much as I love rice, I have to wait at least till lunch for it.
As for dried beans,it's nice that something so tasty is still a great bargain!

I can almost catch a drift of that wonderful aroma way up here!
But, good grief--I can already hear the scolding of my doctor, if I was to sample it!
