Predawn Bear

My current free time during the work week allows me this view in the morning, predawn ...

...and this view of Bear, on our predawn walk, (with flash) ...

Then, it's off to work and soccer practice, where I am treated to this view when I am finally free.

Point is, I hear there is daylight between dawn and dusk, but I have no current proof this is true.

This weekend is looking good though ... after a long ride to a Tallahassee football game.

It's senior Junior's next to last high school football game, so I'll be up at some school called McClay this evening.

It sure would be nice to win one for a change.

Wait,wait, wait ... gotta share this ...

THIS JUST IN BY TEXT MESSAGE FROM EMMA:

"I GOT A 100 ON MY GENETICS EXAM !"

Yay for 100%!

Maclay is north of town out Meridian Road. Don't know where the game will be though. You may have a good chance of winning this one!

Way to Go! Kudos to Emma!

Sorry you have to keep such long hours, but I suspect you know very well how to enjoy your free ones.

100 on anything science-y is pure genius in my book. Go Emma!

Whoops. That was me. Didn't mean to be all stalker-ish and weird.

ugh, early. that's about as coherent as i'd manage that early - no way i could hold onto bear AND take pictures. i hope you get to relax - your way - over the weekend.

good luck, junior! way to go, emma!

Good for Emma! A tough but fascinating subject. Laughing at Wren's comment. Hope the football game is equally successful and then, that you get to catch your breath and see the sun!

Hey! WE WON IN THE BEST GAME OF THE YEAR!
Yes, now that you ask, Junior did make a touchdown.

Lightning,
Thanks, from somewhere near your hideaway.

Sayre,
Very accurate. I think they had the same season record as we do, so it was a nice even match for a change.

Pablo,
Today is gorgeous so I will put that knowledge to work!

Dani,
Good finger crossin'!

Wren,
Heehee! ... and apparently she understands them.

Cathy S,
Thanks! Katie needed that I bet, she had a rough week with allergies.

SNB,
It was so painful to ride past the ST Marks NWR signs.

Miz S,
I thought it was you even before I scrolled down.

Ericka,
My way exactly ... no couch involved.
:)

Vicki,
Bear let me sleep in past dawn today! Bless his fuzzy little haid.

Hope you and your camera get to spend some time in the sun today.

Emma rocks!

Sounds like you'd make it just fine up here! (lack of sunlight, etc).

Congrats Emma!

For whatever reason this year it seems to be dark all the time. Except for a few hours around 1pm, but if you blink it's dark again.

Congrats to Emma.

Wow, way to go, smart Emma!!

I forgot you named your dog, "Bear". And was expecting an encounter with Ursus Floridanus.
