Enough Silliness ... Back To Work

Midnight kisses to ring in the New Year are a only a distant memory for Junior.
It's back to school today!
Yippeeee!
Well, Yippee for HIM, he's a senior in high school starting his final semester.
HE can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I can see the satchel of papers I brought home to grade over the holidays ... untouched since December 18 ... last year.
Situation normal.
Gotta get to work!
FYI: 27 degrees F here in Pure Florida this morning!

End of what tunnel? Then comes college. Then graduate school. Then specialized training. Then lifetime learning.

That is such a great picture! Hope your day back at work today is good. Stay warm.

Our kids aren't back until Thursday. Odd, actually - but I think Winter break is where the planned hurricane days get put if they don't get used.

What Pablo said!

27 degrees? What happened to good ol' wintry warm Florida?

I'm out in CO for the week and unfortunately I don't think I'm missing any part of the FL weather. Both places are pretty chilly.

We were at 19F this morning, which was better than the bitter 5F we had on Sunday! It's snowing out there right now, but luckily we're only expected to get about 1" total.

Pablo,
Yes, but those are voluntary, not compulsary education.
I didn't mean he should turn his brain off upon exiting from the tunnel.
Not like his Dad.

Dani,
I think the kids are all zapped from break and now having to get up early.

Sayre,
Yes, they tacked our cane days on to spring break one year.

Robin,
The low for today is supposed to be 23!
This be NORTH Florida!

Refugee,
I suppose CO cold trumps FL cold.

Dave,
Gee, the Natti wasn't much colder than here today!

I'm not sure if you enjoy freezing temperatures or if you enjoy ANYTHING that dissuades tourists from visiting.

New Smackdown Throwdown Showdown on Wednesday.

Troll,
Yes, to both, although tourists go home, so they are not so bothersome as transplants.

DAWG! Y'all are almost as cold as we are. It looks like maybe the forecast has improved a tad, up from 16° to 21°.

That pic would be great for this month's calendar page.

Hey, I have a palindromic word ver. resser A first for me. 8-]

I've heard of cute boys being chick magnets, but looks like Jr. is a dog magnet! Far from being a drawback, the girls are all going to see that picture and go "awwwwww" and fall in love.
:o)

Ha! I brought home a BOATLOAD of papers to organize and grade. And I never looked at one of them. In fact, I never took them out of the car.
