Kathy A, Yes, they are! Hardy enough to have been around through the dinosaur period and beyond so kids are no big deal! LOL

Miz S, I only had 20 kids on this trip so it was ideal. The school nurse goes with me and we split the kids in half for two major activities and then switch groups. At the point of this video, we were all back on the island beach exploring and I was with a small group who had called me over to see the horseshoe crabs in their net.

I have only seen one of these things and it was dead. I was so sad to find it dead. It is good to see some alive and waiting.

I love the kid's comments! I too thought these were alien creatures! Cool!
