Baby Flying Squirrel Update

If you remember, just a few posts back, we had a little baby flying squirrel that needed some TLC rehabilitation after it became an orphan.
You may also remember that the "Squirrel Lady" out here at Cedar Key took it upon herself to get this baby to the "Flying Squirrel Lady" who had more experience with the tiny flying clan.

A recent email from the "Flying Squirrel Lady" included these photos and the news that little "Sharky" was doing very well.

... Just a little good news on your Wednesday.

(Oh, and ladies ... especially lady Gator fans ... there's a baby squirrel in the photos.)

Looks just like what I imagine Nina's chinchilla looked like as a baby.

If this was Facebook, I'd click the LIKE button.

But since it's FC, I'll just do a little happy dance & say... Wahoo for the baby flyer!

The little guy is starting to look like the clan that has taken up residence in my attic. Finally we have located their entry point and soon will be able to finish our massive relocation policy across the river and into the next county. Renewed harmony is at hand.

Ok I just scared myself because the fingernails are the first things I saw when I looked at the pictures! ;-)

Great to hear that the little flying rodent (term of endearment) is doing so well!

Hey I just looked at your last post about the clen-up, Good Job! I think that bug-eyed creepy thing might used to have been a "Hello Kitty" doll, if so I want it!
(It's a China thing!);-)
