This year's final Cedar Key School Marine Science field trip was awesome enough ... perfect weather, great students, a swell boat, beautiful island ... and then the dolphins showed up.
Just a reminder that sometimes, when you think things have hit the top of the AWESOME-O-METER, there might be more to come.
Enjoy some delphinidaedelightidae.
It's free here at Pure Florida.

It took awhile to load, but while waiting I looked at the aerial photos and decided I need to take a day trip to Cedar Key!
The dolphins were wonderful to see! I love Florida!
Wow! That is absolutely fantastic. What a wonderful sight.
Jeanne,
The dolphins are thick here this time of year. Lots of babies.
Robin,
It was wonderful. So many, so close!
Cindy,
Me too! We were in just a few feet of water at the time too.
Best. Field. Trip. Ever. Imagine the memories! Thank you so very much for sharing.
I loved hearing the kids excitement and adults. No better education than that. Delighted the dolphins showed up for class.
The girl calling them a dollop of dolphins was great.
That's so neat! The students must have loved it. What a great experience!
Your Awesome-O-Meter must go to 11!
I never tire of seeing dolphins in the wild and sometimes have to pinch myself that I even live here! Happy Memorial weekend, Florida Cracker!
