Ranger and his buddy. Some grey in the muzzle, but still patient, still protecting.
This photo and the handfull below complement yesterday's "Best Dog" post, I just didn't have time to post 'em before leaving yesterday.
The chronological order of the photos starts with the Christmas pup picture and scrolls up...did that make any sense?

Sheesh. I guess I need to make a doggie post. I have one that I've been pondering for a while. These are to affecting to ignore. Sheesh!
Pablo
Pablanonymous,
I will give dogs a rest...for a while.
FC,
The thing I remember most about Ranger is his barking at us from morning til night. It was funny because he finally stopped on the day we were leaving, as if he were satisfied that he finally ran us off! TJ, Dude, and I still laugh about this from time to time.
ThunderD,
He told me later it was your aftershave...:)
FC - Please post about dogs or whatever you want whenever you want however you want ifever you want. Don't listen to me. (For the record, I liked this series of posts.)
And this photo is flipped, isn't it?
Pablo,
We are just so backwards out here in the sticks....
I like this series of posts and pictures. I always love to read love stories, especially when they come straight from the heart. Lovely.
RD,
Thanks, it felt good to share this wonderful dog with you.
You have to stop making me cry! I read this while home for lunch and then had to go back on duty. Who's gonna listen to a sniffling, red-eyed ranger? ;)
Swamp,
You are such a softie...it's just a dog...sniff...choke...gotta go.
