Turkeyness Is Bliss

These turkeys were feeding on rye grass planted by the same folks putting in the "pretty" fence mentioned earlier. It sprouts quick, is bright green, and makes the dirt "pretty" too.

The turkeys think it tastes pretty good and are not concerned about what the flagged survey marker portends.

Your turkeys are skinnier than ours. We have turkey shoots once or twice a year. I don't participate in that kind of stuff, but it keeps the turkey population down...sometimes there are 20 or 30 of them milling about in my yard. Dumb birds.
