New Math

Doing the math...

12 + 13 = 18....no, that can't be right.

Try it again...

12 + 13 = 18....dang it! There it is again...

Just can't be...

12 + 13 = 18...unbelieveable. Again, the same results...

I am soooooo not ready for this.

Your older daughter's birthday is on Xmas, and she turns 18?

The number of gifts you still have to get?

12 days of Christmas plus one 13 year old equals...Oh heckterino...I can't guess. You are such a nerd that I'm sure it's something really brainy.

Pablo,
Haven't shopped but a wee tiny bit. I need pressure. Yes, I got that email. Will do.

Hick,
It will turn out to be not as nerdy as you give me credit for...

DPR,
Interesting snail mail today...

Oldhorse,
It actually has nothing to do with Christmas...but another birth, in another time....

I can tell you and Hoss are going to hit it off.
Right- about this math problem. I'm thinking of returning to get another masters degree, this one in Natural Resources. (we won't have any by the time I graduate) so here is my math problem: U-M does not want to accept perfectly acceptable (83rd %) GRE math scores from 31 years ago. Go figure. Now, when I take the practice test I'm scoring in the, ah, 7th percentile. Is there a way your kids can get that to add up to "good"?

Vicki,
If it was good enough 31 years ago, it should be good enough now!

My math problem has to do with "the inability to accept the idea that on 12/13 my baby turns 18" percentile.
