The missing post remains missing. What I was going to say, was, I have switched from Blogger to the new (no longer beta) Blogger. Blogger has been encouraging me to make the switch for some time, but at first I let others go and watched from the sidelines as glitches occurred. For over a month now, I have tried to switch, but Blogger would not let it happen until yesterday.
So here I am.
The new Blogger has more features than the old and I am going to play around a little with my layout and "learn by doing" which is my favorite method.
Expect a few changes ...
to Pure Florida.
Not to me of course, I remain your typical Floridiot.
Okay, I'm going in ...

I tried to switch a little while ago. We seem to have hit a snafu. Roger can log into the old blogger. I can log in, but only as my former nom de blog, Rexroth's Daughter. Mmmm. I can use my Robin Andrea account, but not access our blogs.
I can't wait to see what happens!
Robin,
Do you have a google account? That seems to be step one, before getting in.
Mrs. S,
It's in a state of flux.
If you can't change the product, change the packaging. (But why would you change this product?)
Good luck! And whatever you do, don't throw the computer in the pond!
I have been contemplating switching over to the dark side, but I wonder if it would be hard to switch over my customized template, which I like a lot. I'll try it when I have lots of spare time on the home computer..which is, who knows when.
Pablo,
Thanks.
roger,
i can't get away from green of course. this is actually kind of neat. I like being able to stuff the archive links into a drop down. It would be neat if the blog roll could be done like that too, but that doesn't seem to be a feature.
Laura,
If I did, there'd be no splash, just a cloud of dust. :(
Deb,
After the switch, when you go to customize your layout, you do lose the little customizations from old blogger.
Example: my Bravenet counter vanished, but I just reinserted the counter code and everything was cool, no change in the count.
Oooo...pretty, pretty!
Good for you for being brave enough to do it. I don't wanna switch cause I'm afraid I'll lose my header and since someone else installed it for me, I have no idea how to reinstall it.
I REALLY like your new look! Nice, soothing colors and sharp, eye catching stuff in your sidebar. Good job!
You are a brave man!
I knew that already from reading your site for months now. But this new endeavor is outstanding.
It's taken me two years to learn how to (almost) work the old Blogger.
But, being King Of The Geriatric Geeks, I taught myself how to cut and paste and all that hitech stuff.
I doubt if I'll ever switch to the new system myself till they force me.
I've been getting the message that it's time for me to change too, but when I try, I get a new massage that it's not possible for me yet...So I will wait around playing with my OLD blog for a while longer.
NO...I don't get a massage...I meant message.
Thanks for the blue sky photo. We finally have sun today after some pretty gray and rainy days. Man, we have had a bit of everything in the past couple weeks but I am sooo glad I am not in Denver right now!!
Wow! Borders! Labels! Drop down lists! I can see the small changes, so far and it's all adding up! It really looks nice over here, FC.
You definitely chose their best layout. Looks really good. That's just one more reason I prefer xanga. They have way more choices.
The reason everyone is up so early at MM is because they want to grab that morning martini before it gets warm.
;)
Swampy,
I'm trying ...
POP,
You DO have a cool header. I was wondering how to get a photo in there myself ...
ThreeCollie,
You notice I let you go first.
John,
After 2 days, I am pleased with the cool features, but a little frustrated at Picasa/New Blogger relaibility. Some photo uploading issues to resolve.
Sandy,
I suppose at some point you will have to, but the longer you wait, the more bugs they fix. I don't think a massage is part of the deal tho :)
MoMadness,
Too warm here for Christmas time!
Laura,
Thanks! Still tweaking.
SophieMae,
I went and checked out xanga. It seems to have some great features.
They've been pestering me to switch too, but so far I haven't fallen for it. ;)
Rurality,
