Pajama Walk

This morning was so pretty with 46 degree temps and a blue sky, I didn't even wait to get dressed. Scroll down and I'll share what I saw in my PJ's and robe.Posted by Picasa

You can imagine how I feel about this wonderful post, F.C. Thank you so much for taking us along on your morning stroll. There are a couple "action shots" that made me laugh, I paused at your quiet places and it all ends up at home- clearly where your heart is.

I too am guilty of an occasional pajama walk...actually, a perfect weekend day is when I can keep my jammie pants on all day!

Thanks for taking us with you. I especially liked the house picture; it's a beautiful home, and that steep pitched roof reminds me of some place I hope to be moving in soon!

ThreeCollie,
Would you expect anything else but camo jammies?
I have a reputation to uphold :)

Mel,
It's true ... my toes and all their attachments.

Vicki,
So glad you went along with me. I didn't include the deer we spooked, the crows fussing at an unseen hawk, and the sandspur in my foot.

Deb,
Yes, your house reminds me of ours. Pretty exciting for you guys to be moving into new digs!

Nice post.
I assume there is another foot to match the one shown.

LOL I loved the political photo! And I miss being able to walk outside in the cold, early morning on our land, where only the horses and cows were out and about at that time of the day. I've got to stop coming over here, your blog makes me homesick at times. lol

And that last photo, what a beautiful house!!!! Bet it's real nice to return to on a cold day like that. :)

Beautiful home. Great sense of humor. Your blog is very personal yet you maintain your privacy. Nicely done.

Nice morning stroll. I go out in the early morning to photograph the sunrise sometimes. I throw a sweater on over my sleep-in shirt and head out, no matter how cold. I do slip into my gardening shoes though.

The political pic is very funny, and your home really is quite beautiful, fc.

I will only say that I really enjoyed the walk; and that says it all. Thanks!

Mac,
All feet present and accounted for.

Laura,
It's nice to not have to drive to "be in it". Definitely not a McMansion, and a little battlescarred from 3 kids, but yes, it is a wonderful place to return to.

Leslie,
Thank you for the kind comments. I do love this place.

Robin,
I've seen those beautiful sunrises on your site. We are always glad when you do take your morning camera walk :)
Betcha can't go barefoot in January!

MoMadness,
I'm glad you came along.

Very purty, Cracker. And do I hear a birthday is coming? So, when?

What a great way to start your day! Your pond is still empty? We got another good rain last night and a bit this afternoon. I'll try to blow harder next time.

When your nest is empty, you're going to take in a lodger, right? I can sing for my supper. And I don't eat much. 8-] Love that house!

Hoss,
About 5 hours from now.

Sophie,
It's raining, but lightly, so my pond still resembles a big almost empty mudhole. Every once in a while I get the urge to drive the JEEP through it.
I may have to take in boarders when there's two kids in college!

I just returned from a trip to Florida. Your photos brought back images of my own from my stay in Ocala and Paynes Prarie. Nice!

Walking around the property barefoot like you ain't got no good sense! You plainly don't have enough cacti, thorny vines, poison ivy, and sandspurs to learn you better. I tell you what though, as I've got a surplus at present I'll give you some of mine! {laughing}

Oh, and Alan doesn't wear cammy jammies. {grin}

.....Alan.

Kristen,
Welcome to Pure Florida!
I'm glad you stopped by.

Alan,
I did pick up a sandspur!
