Okay, my guess is a hiking stick, but you've been crafty about framing your photos to misdirect the eye, so it could be some MacGuyver-type thing like a mini-nuclear power plant.

LOL to pablo! But I vote walking stick.

Is this a component of your Rube Goldberg system of aquaculture? And, many thanks for alerting me culturally to Rube Goldberg's contributions. There are just certain aspects of culture that my education has missed...

You've been carving again. I also think this is another one of your beautiful walking sticks. Did you ever read that old version of The Little Prince in French (do they teach French in Florida?) with the quaint line drawings? This reminds me of the one of the snake who had just eaten something large. But I have snakes in the brain right now so that's just me. It is a very nice stick? Wood type? Nice with that knot or burl there.

in the brain would be parasites. ON the brain...

Obviously that’s a photo of a petrified duck.

Pablo,
No, mon ami. My mini nuclear power plant looks like a tv remote. I'd show it to you but it's lost in the couch somewhere.

Deb,
This could be an age thing, but a Rube Goldberg cartoon was in the Sunday funnies during my formative years and it was a favorite. Remember the game Mousetrap? Definitely Goldberg inspired.

Mel,
That would be the other 99% of my carvings!

Vicki,
Oui, mademoiselle. We larn the french down hyar. Took deux ans of it myself back in high ecole.
Abiento mon ami.

John,
Isn't that a Chinese dish?
