It's Cold Here In Pure Florida

Swamp Sunflower blooming finally!

Actually it's not cold, I have a cold.
So the Friday Florida Food Fest I wanted to do is not happening while my white blood cells and I kick some virus butt.
I'll be back later with something weird, delicious, sad, stinky, odd (is that the same as weird?), amazing, or mildly amusing.

It's hard to believe that a cold could touch the mighty FC. One of my gods has fallen!

Hey, look! I was able to post a comment! Blogger doesn't hate me anymore (again).

I wonder if that cold bug moved from up here. It had been making its way through everyone here a couple of weeks ago. Hope you feel better. I hate having a cold over a weekend. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who has trouble posting comments to your blog through blogger.

It's cold here in Minnesota. I don't have a cold, it's about 32 degrees. Hope you're feeling better.

something with a lot of datil in it should scare a virus away.

Bummer about your cold! Lightnin and I each battled something a couple of weeks ago, not at the same time of course, we had to pass it back and forth for awhile. ;-)

Oh, I forgot to mention we finally broke the hot weather streak up here. It rained for two days and finally cooled things down to about normal (70's).

When I saw that "It's cold", I thought, yeah, it's probably dropped below 70. My relatives down near Tampa think water freezes at 50.

Well, bless your heart! Why does it always hit on weekends?! If it's the same thing we had, you'll only be miserable 2-3 days and feel better just in time to take on Monday morning. Hope your datil(s) do it and you can enjoy at least part of the WE.

I hope you recover quickly, fc. Chicken soup is a very good thing for a cold, especially if it's a little on the hot and spicy side. I've heard that rest is the very best for getting well quickly.

Cold-Eeze, dude! At the first symptom! If you have waited over 24 hours don't bother though. But remember for next time. :)

Get well by MUTE MONDAY. Theme is "family". Should be an easy one.

Just noticed the "Pure Florida Events and Happenings" section. It rocks! I might hit the Cedar Key event.

90% sure the beast in Thursday's posting is mostly or all Texas Longhorn.

Pablo,
I think the cold affected my muse.
Sorry Blooger is picking on you again. You seem like such a nice fellow.

RCW,
When you work with kids like I do, you get a wide menu of viruses tossed at you every day. Sorry Blooger gives you trouble... if it helps, it often loses my comment too. Copy save before publishing. That's my mantra.

Deb,
Unbelievable. It's 89 here at 6pm.

ThreeCollie,
Glad y'all are better. I think I'm on the upswing this evening.

roger,
i just made a very spicy beef/broccoli stirfry to cook those little viruses.

ThunderD,
If'n you two would quit smooching, you might not pass so many colds.
I'm just sayin' ...

Mark,
It doesn't??

Sophie,
It's been hitting for two days, it just peaked yesterday evening. Feeling better now tho.

Robin,
I made some day before yesterday when I felt this coming on. I am a great believer in it.

Ruraliteze,
Thanks for that tip!!

Sharon,
Me too. I'm ready for nippiness.

Mockingbird,
I might learn to eat okra just to try that prescription.
:)

Vicki,
Thanks!

Artfulsub,
I have a picture in mind. I'll try to keep that event calendar up to date and true to the PF cause.
Glad you liked it. I think LH too on those cows.

To All,
Thanks for the well wishes. I think I feel spritely enough to go photograph the highschool football game for our yearbook sponsor. She counts on me for pics.
Have a great Friday evening and I'll think of something for tomorrow.
I may go canoeing early if Jr does not have a soccer game.
