Tidy

I thought that by this time in my week of nonsupervision, there would be dirty dishes piled high in the sink and trails of dirty laundry leading to a larger pile on the floor of the laundry room. While it's true that the first night was one of sloth, the glow quickly wore off, and last night I washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen.

Tonight, I'll do the laundry that I neatly separated into the appropriate bins ... oh my God, am I domesticated?
When did that happen?
I was going to post a few pics of the intertidal zone and tie tides to the tidy title of this tome, but Bloooooooooger is giving me the message below. Blooger is in bold, my response is in the larger font ...

We're sorry, but we were unable to complete your request.

Oh yeah? Well, I'm sorry too you knuckleheads, 'cause it seems to be happening a lot lately. C'mon, YOU'RE Google! You have enough money to make your service work correctly!

When reporting this error to Blogger Support or on the Blogger Help Group, please:

Really now, what support? Picasa (also a Google product) has better support than you, why don't you guys talk to them? Pick their brains. Network dudes, network!

Describe what you were doing when you got this error.

I was sitting here in my shorts drinking coffee, trying to be clever and witty, and I really needed some good photos uploaded in case I failed on the clever and witty angle.

Provide the following error code and additional information.

Well okay, I provided it. I just hope you have some bot crawling your web pages for frustrated blogger references.

This information will help us to track down your specific problem and fix it! We apologize for the inconvenience.

That would be nice.

Deep breaths. Count to 100,000.

Curiously, I'm having trouble loading pix to my Wordpress blog. Hmmmm.

Blogger obviously does not know how much the rest of us really enjoy your photos - or they wouldn't do this to you!!!! Thank goodness you are still clever & witty in spite of all the blogger trouble!

Hmmm, and I was just investigating Blogger as a way to start a blog. But then Pablo chimes in. Hmmm. I guess it's eaasier to feed off someone else's creativity I mean comment on someone else's blog.

I use Typepad to host my blog and run into similar things. I guess there's no escaping periodic frustrations.

By the way, I'm happy to know there still is a place where Florida is "pure". I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale and over the past several decades, have watched it and Naples and, well most of Florida morph into something else.

Yeah, I HATE THAT!!!! I also hate "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" and then it asks me if I want to send a report. I NEVER send a report. Why should I help them out when they do this to me 42 times a day!??!? >:o)

Blogger has been accusing me of the exact same thing. I think it's an inside job.

That bug has been bugging me and a couple of other bloggers I read as well. Sure wish they would fix it and keep it fixed.

I've had this same problem on occasion. It usually only lasts for a couple of hours.

Pablo,
Maybe by the time I get to 100,000 they will have fixed it.
Arrgghhh.

Tuffy,
Thanks for the positive motivation!
:)

Mark,
C'mon take the big step!

Welcome June!
I love that wisdom, "I guess there's no escaping periodic frustrations".
How true.
Glad you found PF!

Sharon,
I just came from your site where I could not comment because of the IE message. The CSX story was a heartwarmer.

Mrs. Mc,
What did we do to tick them off?

3C,
The blogger site says they fixed it on October 20.
Huh?

Scott,
I should have known.

RCW,
It always seems to pick the hours I have to blog.

FC- Do you offer classes in batching it? Although I'm almost never away, so that would hardly be relevant. More like, does your wife, when she goes away, leave you to take care of HER animals while you are struck with a debilitating cold virus?

Just wondering...

I tried to get a photograph on my profile page and couldn't make it happen. This stuff should be easy for me. I'm a product of flordus publik edukashun sistum. :D
