I took so many turtle photos while canoeing the Santa Fe that after the bazillionth turtle photo canoe detour, I announced that ...
... the only way I would take any more turtle photos is if they were standing on their heads.
Lucky for me, they were only standing in line.

It's Mrs. FC's birthday!
Not the milestone I encountered recently, ... she's still a baby.
This means I'll be baking a poppyseed cake ... her favorite.

My husband always bakes a cake for me on my birthday, too. He's wonderful. I usually ask for spice or carrot or chocolate, but I never thought of poppyseed. MMMmm.

Mrs. FC actually had to go out of town on her birthday (today) so I'm cake bakin' tomorrow.
