UPDATE ON SATURDAY MORNING:
MISSING BUTT FOUND!
So, has this guy been dederriered, or am I missing the point?
Below: Friday's whine.
I have no idea if this will post, but here we go:
Last night and this morning Blogger would not let me save and publish, hence no post this morning. Which is too bad actually, because I had a picture of a katydid who was still functioning although he seems to have lost his butt.
I'm serious, no buts about it.
"AUTOSAVE FAILED" was the message I kept getting.
Right now, I'm on my lunch break ... it lasts 25 minutes.
PB&J on double protein bread with a pink topped Yoplait blackberry yogurt.
I just clicked SAVE and it responded so this may work.
Gotta go.

I thought it was just me. Went on pretty much all night. I did what I do when loading a video... did other things, kept checking back, eventually it went through.
Poor katydid... katydud?... bet he's the butt of all the other KD's jokes.
I don't really know if I want to see a half dead katydid continuing to defy death despite loss of butt - ew.
Somehow this makes me feel better. I thought Blogger was just being mean to me -- misery loves company ;)
Hopefully minus the roaches!
I've had that problem too, for the past few days. Your excuse passes :-D
Sophie,
Heehee!
Well, at least I know it wasn't my 5 year old Dell and dialup.
Suze,
I could be wrong, that's why I wanted to put the truncated katydid out there for you guys to judge.
Swampy,
I've been so pleased with Blogger lately, all the new features and stuff, ... I guess every once in a while there is going to be a bug in the works.
Cindy,
Hey pinky!
One of my classroom roaches is watching me right now.
HT,
Good to know my pass is valid!
I'm with "Suze." No thanks to debutted, decapitated or otherwise mangled insects.
Blogger probably heard what you were up to and shut down until you left home.
Since we're not posting regularly, I missed the Blogger meltdown. I remember the days when it would let me down. Hah, not anymore. Slackers rule! I was actually hoping you would post the katydid photos.
Um - do you really have roaches in your classroom? On purpose or because they just happen to walk by?
I got one of those too, today. Maybe it's something that's going around -- like the flu.
I picked today to do eleven posts. That's the blog-ant speaking. And it took all day, because Blogger was constipated. The more Blogger balked, the more determined I was to force it to take photos. I'm whipped! Right now it's gagging on two turtle photos, and I'm giving up.
Bring on the a-sless katydid. I love that stuff.
Excuses not necessary...you're a teacher, not a student!
I'd be interested in seeing a katydid, even butt-less, because my boss brought in a bug the other day that I thought was a katydid, but I wasn't sure.
Blogging on the job, huh? You teachers sure do have a lot of time on your hands.
LOL @ Julie :)
Sorry FC, that's beyond irritating. I get madder at inanimate objects than I do at people. Hope it starts working for you!
Blogger...the price is right, but it comes with aggravations
And classroom roaches!!! Ugh!
Susan,
It's not a gross pic. I actually didn't suspect a case of butt chomped off until I enlarged it.
Robin,
Bloggers been very very good for a long time so I shall ignore this little burp in the system.
Unless it continues.
Suze,
It's a new school, but the Asian flying roaches have set up camp in my room and gotten ahead of pest control efforts. They should be getting a double whammy soon as I have reported the problem.
Hoss,
Bloogerflu!
Julie,
I love that description!!
Deb,
I tell the students that all the time.
"WE ARE NOT THE SAME!"
Miz S,
What was I thinking? I should have been assessing some assessment somewhere.
Sharon,
Julie has the knack! Her blog is excellent!
3C,
I know, and in a new school too!
