FC, I think I like you better than that Les guy, survivorman. At least I know you are real. Keep up the good work, it goes well with coffee in the am. Thanks,
"Heaven... He's in heaven, And the cares that hung around him through the week, Seem to vanish like a gambler's lucky streak... Oh, he loves to go out fishing In a river or a creek!"
Now that looks like a relaxing way to spend the day. A lot of work paddling, I'm sure, but still more fun than household projects! thnks for the virtual trip, I needed that one.
Any ideas on what works better than SSS? I'm always lookin for a better skeeter repellent!
3C, A sunfish family member. That one is pretty average.
Dani, My pleasure. I will remember to wipe my lens next time.
Bill, Heh! Yup, I'm real alright. Maybe I should do a survival post ... go out there with nothing ... we could call it Survivor Cracker.
Vicki, Right on the money!
Patti, I had to wait on an airliner far overheas to pass, the camera always picks them up. Thanks for asking a question I knew!
Laura, My opinion of SSS is that while it might help a little with gnats, it has no mosquito power. Deep Woods Off or Cutter if I choose to apply anything.
How nice to kayak in winter. Mine is a dust collector for now. How do you protect your camera from an unfortunate spill? I have been afraid to take mine with me.
Love the videos! I don't have a kayak, bummer! But when my girls were little we used to canoe this run with them quite often. Don't you just love it in the winter? So serene! One winter the water was low and we spend a lot of time pushing ourselves off the shallows. Great memories anyway. Just found your blog....wonderful!

Great videos! If that was a sunfish he could eat the ones we catch up here for lunch!
Oh, now I see in the post below that it was a shellcracker...couldn't see as well in the video.
Very soothing for the morning. Thanks!

ArkPatti,
Yes, it's year round here. I have a camera dry bag, but most of the time my camera is around my neck. I'm just real careful.
