I'd love to make fun of you for taking a picture of *@#%, but the truth is...I have several photos very similar to this. Caribou droppings, mostly. Now I'm wondering if an explanation will follow in a later post? Or are we left to wonder? :)

For those of us who think nothing of getting close to scat for a better look, that is an interesting pile. Do I see a little seed and bone in there?

Uh, okay, I'se not sure what comments ya expected.

But on the rattlesnake an' Bear's close call, Uncle an' his gang had the same last week down at the camp--a fella came in round dusk-thirty to step outa his jeep an near onto a lulu of a rattler--they kilt it daid, then threatened to make rattlesnake chili. Seems the rattler's is on the move?

Kimberlee,
LOL! These are deer droppings with palmetto berries as the main course.

Robin,
Palmetto seed for sure. Should not be bone unless it was there first. I appreciate scat too.

Sophie,
Got it, but deer, Dear.

Aunty,
A JEEP? What color? Just kidding, I got distracted. Glad the snake did not inject anyone.
Sorry about the poop popping up post. Hope the folks you send are not to disappointed.

Anonymous Pablo,
Yes, it is. I crapped out on that bit of spelling.

Lisa,
Only if you get too close.
