Where In The World Is FC?

I have been somewhere beautiful for the past few days.
That's my excuse for the minimal posts.

It is my kind of place ... salty.

Am I still in Florida, or have I jumped peninsula and landed in the Caribbean?
Or Mexico?

The beaches here are warm and the water is a palette of blues and greens.

On the quiet back shore, crystal clear water beckons.
I answered.

Tall ships moor here in the post sundown afterglow.

So where am I?

Somewhere in the Keys maybe? Wherever you are it looks like heaven!

I don't know where you are, but it looks perfectly beautiful and serene. We had six inches of snow today.

Well it looked like St. George until the shot of the palms. Don't really know, but I'm guessing somewhere along the panhandle.

Sayre's right - the white sand looks like the panhandle but the sand at the edge of the water seems a little dark and rocky.
I want to change my answer to somewhere around Apalachicola.

Looks like good old Florida to me!
I'd say somewhere in the Panhandle.

The quiet waters indicate you are at the edge of the GOM. The tall ship says it isn't Cedar Key. The (cabbage?) palms could be anywhere from Mexico through the Gulf Coast to the Keys. The absence of hair on your lower legs where your socks would go says you are affluent. Oh, wait! That's not about location. Unless your wife's from Corpus Christi, I guess you are in St Aug on a windless day beside an ocean that doesn't have a single storm on it.

These are interesting and clever guesses. Some, more accurate than others, but ALL appreciated.
I have to ask though, Buford ... does wearing socks make one affluent?
Have I been part of the upper class all these sock-wearing years and not known it?
LOL!

In my travels around Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, yeah, socks quite make the man. I'm going one step further out on the limb and guess Conch Island.

I don't know where you are, but DANG it looks like heaven.

I'm going with Port St. Joe area. Some of your pics look a lot like some Hwy 98/30/319 spots... though it's changed an awful lot since the evil developers who seem to own about 80% of the panhandle unleashed their greedy plans...

Aaaannnnywho, the tall ships pic reminds me of the marina in PSJ.

Or maybe Cape San Blas? St. Joseph Peninsula SP?

SophieMae said...

Well, DUH! Maybe you DID land in Mexico....

..... Beach. ?

Cape San Blas/St.Joe Peninsula State Park.
Plus every other place between there and St. Marks that we could squeeze in.
It is the menu for this week here at PF.
I think you will like it.
I just don't know what amazing day to post about first at this moment.
