Red Dyeless

Ahh, FC finally made the switch from red dye nectar. All it took was a good switching by Zick and Myamuh Native.


I'ma lookin' achoo.

LOL, my Dad mixed up some sugar water for his hummingbirds a couple of days ago - and put it in an empty water-bottle - much to my Mom's dismay when she picked it up and drank from it :)

We've been making hummingbird juice for years. They love it, and it's so easy. Glad to see your crew getting hooked on the clear stuff!

Awesome pictures! They sure do love the easy syrup! Spring comes and they let me know if I don't have the feeders out and ready!!

Great capture....the jury is still out on if the red dye is dangerous for the hummers in the long run...I have made my own, "bird's milk" sugar water for years.

You were still using red dye? How embarrassing. Your photos, however, are divine. We have many many humors here and love their feisty antics around the feeder right outside above the dining room table.
