The Lost Week Ends

A lack of internet service at PFHQ (at least service at any useable speed)  for the past week or so has really cut into my posting.
You may have noticed this, and I apologize.
As is my way, I tried to resolve it myself for a few days before I decided it must be the Hughesnet modem.
A phone call to "Brian" in India, confirmed this and after a 20 minute polite chat, I had a new modem on the way.
I hooked it up last night and I'm once again to slip around the ether at a speed I can live with.
It was actually very good customer service ... you would have heard about it if that had not been the case.

Enjoy this peaceful interlude ... courtesy of the Sun, Sony, and a new modem.

You don't need to apologize for not posting. Things happen. I am delighted to see that it was nothing serious keeping you off the net and you didn't have to deal with Peggy. Beautiful scenes like this would keep me off the net and in the garden.

Well you knpow I'm not going to say anything about the lack of posts! ;-)

Awesome view!

I'm not going to say anything about lack of posts either. And, at least when you do post, there is substance. The Bums, on the other hand, not so much.

There's something about the sun rising over water that calms the mind. Beautiful.

Hey FC,

Agree with the above. I re-read the post cause I was thinking "who is Peggy?". Then it dawned on me!

Great video!

Have a good weekend.........p

Amad was very helpful as we had similar issues this week too. Modem was ok, we just had no internet and no phone. Eventually resolved.
Lovely peaceful interlude, it is 90 here and crunchy dry.

ShellLady,
I was execting Peggy!

Thunder and Lightnin,
You are missing the bestest weather right now!

Lisa at Green,
I hear ya! My garden and the Gulf are calling me right now. Gulf may win.

Patio,
You too!
Enjoy this great weather!

Caroline,
See, now Amad is much more believable than Brian when the speaker has a strong Indian accent.
It really was good service though, I can not complain.

Robin,
Oh, I think the bum posts are always substantial.

It's hard enough to keep up with blogging without one's modem crashing. You are the Old Faithful of nature blogging. Thank you for the water view. The only water I get to see around here is usually falling in my eyes. We're going into the Pretty Colors Season but too close behind is the Gray Season, and I'm going to be depending on you for some subtropical color.
