Ex Uno Plures

 In my various tanks and FC created ponds around PFHQ, I have both flora and fauna. Lately, I noticed my pond flora have multiplied to the point where they are shredding the black plastic pots that once contained them. These plants consist mainly of  blueflag iris, a native spider lily, and another iris that is almost black when it blooms.  I don't know it's name, the cutie who cuts my hair gave it to me. (She is a pondophile too)

As you can see in the top photo, they were terribly rootbound and it was way past time for division.

What a difference a sharp knife makes.
This must feel like taking off a pair of too-tight shoes after a long day.

I'm not done yet, there are still plants to separate. Some of these will go down to the currently dry pond at the east end of PFHQ.
I am excavating down there and creating my own wetland ... all I need is some wet.
A few of these will go out to the school as part of my grant funded aquaponic project.

There, they will filter the aquaculture water, multiply, and eventually, be divided again.
