Here's an example of a specific wildlife food plant. In Florida, if I plant the native passionflower vine shown here, I will get Gulf Fritillary butterflies. GUARANTEED. The foliage of this plant is the sole food of the Gulf Fritillary caterpillar. The adults will lay eggs on these vines and those eggs will hatch into bright orange caterpillars covered with black spikes. By allowing these vines to grow around the place I get beautiful flowers and bright orange adult butterflies.  Posted by Hello
