Ichnetucknee Mullet

These are mullet, a marine fish swimming through the pure fresh water of the Ichnetucknee River. Mullet can do that because they are "Euryhaline" fish. That means they are great at controlling water gain and loss. They are able to adjust to different salinities whether they are swimming in the Gulf of Mexico or a freshwater spring. Posted by Hello
