For some quality entertainment, go to a crowded boat ramp late in the afternoon and watch the fun. I've seen some pretty funny things happen when everyone gets to the ramp at the same time.
I know what you mean. Unfortunately I was the entertainment a couple of years ago when I gave the boat a push off the trailer. It was supposed to go to waiting family at the dock, but bypassed them in a stiff wind and headed out alone into the harbor. I had to jump in and swim after it to the amusement of the ramp watchers. You should have been there!
