Here's a snake with no secrets. Those are my guinea eggs in there. She can have the guinea eggs, but the banty eggs are off limits! Posted by Picasa

Thanks for the link to the cholesterol supplement site;-) My cholesterol level is lower already.
Too bad you can't block anonymous posters.

BTW, that is one well-fed snake. It shouldn't bother you for at least a couple of weeks.

I'm guessing the emu's are farm raised. There is a small farm close to my house that raises ostriches and emus. The young don't stay around very long, I think the farmer sells them. Ostrich meat is supposed to be pretty good, but I have never tried any.

Kevin,
I removed the pesky spam. If there's a way to block anon comments on Blogger, I just haven't found it yet.

I imagine these emusians escaped from a pen, I just didn't know anyone in that area well enough to start knocking on doors and saying, "Hey are you missing a flock of 5 foot tall birds?"

Plus I had those Klondike ice cream bars in the jeep...

I'm sure the blogspot people didn't think there would be people using these sites to advertise, of course in hindsight, it's a free for them to post there dribble. Anyway, most of your posters are great. I enjoy the posters that aren't from the area and their reactions to things we've grown up with. Gook luck keeping out the unwanted posts.

I hear the shrimp are starting to run. Right now they are all small.

Yipes! Snakes in the house? Snakes eating chicken eggs. Gators threatening children. It must be an "E Ticket" ride being married to you.

We came home yesterday and my Darling Daughter informed us that we had a snake in the house. She was totally freaked out. I thought about coming over here to Pure Florida to find out what to do about it, but before we got a chance to do anything...

Hey! Wait a minute! This could be a good blogging topic.

Hick,
Maybe your bats could gang up on the house snake.
...and mentioning an "E" ticket dates you... :)

Ha! No...um...uh...I read about the "E" ticket on the internet, somewhere...

Heh!

You can block anonymous posters but that won't necessarily block your spammers. I made my primary blog registered users only for a while, but then went back to allowing anonymous posts.

What a lucky snake! All those eggs make for a nice full tummy :)

Hick,
And that would be "TicketingsystemsDisneyusedintheseventies.com"?

Swamp,
Thanks for the tips.
This snake won't have to eat for a long time. I cringe when I think about how many of these beauties get killed visiting a chicken coop.
