(note: we are not on fire, the cars were warming up...frost on the jeep this morn)

Meanwhile, eighteen years later, she is still a cutie, but more of an armfull.

Same baby, same parka, same me.

...well, the parka and I may have faded a little.

Well, I'm guessing that Happy B-day to Katie is called for here!

Wow, frost on the windshield! We've still got snow on the ground and temps in the teens. More snow predicted for Wed night/Thurs morning!

Happy birthday to a lovely young woman!

Looks like the years have been kind to you as well. Nice to see the photos!

ThunderD,
Thanks. Still a baby though.

Deb,
Thanks. I thought of you and the hermit as I wrote about time flying. Your post about the ballet and the busy day with your little ones yesterday sounded very familiar. Soak it up kiddo, the time of "littleness" passes too quickly.
...of course, they are still a blast as teens! It's all fun...just seems like work.

You both look radiantly happy. Proud papa in both pictures, and a babe in both as well!

Katie looks great-- is this after the nose surgery?

Happy birthday to a lovely 18 year old. You know what comes next? Voting!

RD,
Yup, post nose surgery, still wearing a tan brace thingie on it. She will definitely be voting!
Thanks!

Hick,
Thanks from all of us!

DPR,
I knew you had a keen eye. As for the song, we have one of those personalized happy birthday recordings from when she was a baby. We dust it off and inflict it on her every year.
PS. Pirate treasure received yesterday.Cool! Thanks!

One of you is damn cute. Don't make me tell you which is which.

Oldhorse,
Don't worry...I won't tell her which one. You know how sensitive they can be. :)

Thing,
That's "Summerschool".
Can you see the flat trailer tire from lack of use. Blame it on remodeling...
